SFW is proud to announce renewal of its Investor in People (IiP) status following a successful assessment on 11th January 2008. IiP provides a framework that helps organisations improve business performance and realise objectives through the effective management and development of people.
Although most companies will state that staff are their greatest assets, accreditation to IiP recognises that an organisation is committed to development of staff and furthermore aligns their skills to the organisation’s vision and strategy.
SFW first became an Investor in People in December 2003 and this latest assessment was against the revised standard which has a greater emphasis on management development and leadership.
Commenting on the accreditation, Steve Elliott, Director said “This demonstrates that SFW is committed to providing staff with job satisfaction, a good working environment and are given the opportunities to train and develop. This also sends a clear message to our clients that we value our staff and that this will ultimately contribute to customer satisfaction.”
