Project Manager SFW is seeking a Project Manager to join its exceptional team

Job purpose:

SFW is looking for a confident, self-motivated Project Manager with energy, imagination and a background in management consultancy, IT consultancy or systems delivery  to join its exceptional team.

Experience Required

Essential

  • Intellectually strong with an excellent academic record
  • Certification in PRINCE2
  • Experience of working to defined quality management systems
  • Strong track record of successful full-lifecycle software project delivery
  • Extensive experience of working in a client-facing environment
  • Excellent team working and communication skills
  • Strong leadership, organization and planning skills
  • Innovative, flexible self-starter with excellent analytical skills

Desirable

  • Engineering/scientific background
  • Experience of procurement and delivery within the medical sector
  • Business change implementation
  • Business Analysis
  • Roll-out design and management
  • Experience of working with bespoke/customized technology solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies
  • Experience of working within regulatory environments
  • Experience of managing multi-disciplined teams
  • Experience of contract negotiation and management.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  1. Accountable for end to end delivery of a project on behalf of clients, through effective management and development of staff
  2. Identify and agree with the client appropriate solutions to meet business requirements
  3. Day to day responsibility for delivery of the project to time and budget
  4. Risk management
  5. Take responsibility for overall progress and use of resources
  6. Be responsible for change control and configuration management
  7. Build productive client relationships and identify and develop opportunities for new business.
