SFW Ltd Awarded G-Cloud II Supplier Status
SFW announced today that its Software as a Service (SaaS), Specialist Cloud Services (SCS) and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offerings are now available through the UK Government G-Cloud framework which enables the rapid sourcing and deployment of secure, competitively priced services to the UK public sector.
SFW’s Software offerings include key software applications that help streamline operations and improve efficiency including Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Case Management, Collaboration, Enterprise Document and Records Management (EDRM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM). In addition, SFW’s SCS and IaaS offerings provide the Road mapping and development backbone and, where required, the private cloud itself ensuring that government clients can enjoy a seamless and secure transition to the Cloud.
Marie-Helene Durif, Head of Sourcing & Category Management, CT, at the Government Procurement Service, commented, “At the Government Procurement Service our priority is to provide procurement savings for organisations across the UK public sector. The inclusion of SFW Ltd to the G-Cloud II procurement framework will strengthen our offering and provide public sector buyers with a tried and tested route to achieve value for money.”
Peter Hornsby, SFW Director commented “I am extremely proud that SFW has achieved G-Cloud supplier status. This means that government clients can now source SFW’s offerings quicker and at a lower overall procurement cost, as the tendering requirements have already been undertaken. Becoming a G-Cloud supplier is testament to the relevance of SFW’s offerings for the public sector.”

The G-Cloud Programme is a cross government initiative led by Andy Nelson (Ministry of Justice) supported by Denise McDonagh (Home Office) under the direction of the Chief Information Officer Delivery Board as part of the Government ICT Strategy.
The initial focus is on introducing cloud ICT services into government departments, local authorities and the wider public sector. In order to do this they have undertaken an OJEU compliant framework called G-Cloud. These services can then be reviewed and purchased through the CloudStore.
