More G-Cloud success for SFW
02 February 2015
SFW is strengthening its services under G-Cloud 6

SFW is strengthening the services it offers under the latest iteration of the government’s flagship cloud computing initiative, which launches today as G-Cloud 6.

As well as following new publication guidelines to improve search performance for customers, SFW is demonstrating compliance with 14 new cloud security principles designed to make it easier for customers to find products and services that meet their unique security requirements.

SFW has also added two new services to the software-as-a-service category. Its Dynamics CRM Online (recently accredited by the Home Office) and SharePoint Online are managed by SFW and hosted at Skyscape to elevated security level (IL3).

Now in its sixth iteration, G-Cloud remains central to improving public sector access to the best technology, with £394 million spent through the framework to date. G-Cloud enables the rapid sourcing and deployment of secure cloud services to over 30,000 public sector organisations.

As the number of listed suppliers grows, the Digital Marketplace, which replaced the CloudStore late last year, is helping customers to find and compare cloud services more easily.

SFW’s portfolio of products and public sector credentials are driving its success in this highly competitive market. Current projects include:

Houses of Parliament: optimising application performance for daily publications
Homes and Communities Agency: developing the collaborative ‘New-Build’ investment management application
Defra: improving communications to 5000 stakeholders through SFW's CRM solution

All of our services are available to purchase through the Digital Marketplace.
