Lightweight support paves the way for confident self-sufficiency
To support the in-house operation, SFW was asked to provide lightweight 3rd line support services.
This allows CCRC to draw upon a broad range of technical skills which, while necessary to support its operation, are not required frequently enough to justify investment in full training for in-house staff.
Our support services also help to mitigate the risk of dealing with unusual and/or complex technical issues by giving the in-house team extra assistance when required.
Depending on the nature of the request, support is either provided on site or by telephone and covers SharePoint, Oracle, VMWare, Citrix, Microsoft Exchange and MS SQL Server.
Here are a few examples:

- Building a new email custom plug-in to accommodate new protective marking application to outgoing emails
- Installing a lightweight SharePoint instance, including best practice advice on configuration based on the anticipated usage
